The Big Five is the term used to refer to the animals difficult to hunt. They include lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, and black rhinos. This itinerary aims at exploring these beautiful animals in Tanzanian wildlife sanctuaries. You will visit Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and finally the Ngorongoro Crater.

After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet our professional guide. You will be greeted and welcomed to Tanzania. A few moments later, you will be on the road heading to your lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a meal and night before your adventure the following day.
After a morning meal, we hit the road from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. We arrive at the main gate and clear the paperwork. We then start the drive officially. As we drive through the verdant plains of Tarangire, we encounter wild animals such as elephants in large herds, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and many others. We enjoy lunch at a picnic site and continue driving until evening. It is worth knowing that, you won’t see all the Big Five in Tarangire. The rhinos are not available. So, you may see lions, leopards, buffalos, and elephants.
After a buffet breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara. This national park is characterized by its unique species of lions – the tree-climbing lions. There are also large herds of elephants, pink flamingos, and other animals. We will drive through the plains of Lake Manyara and return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we start the journey to Serengeti National Park. We leave the highlands behind and descend into the Central Serengeti. The endless plains of the Serengeti stretch farther than the eye can see. We will arrive in the heart of Serengeti, usually known as the Seronera area. This area is rich in wildlife. We eat lunch at the camp and go for an afternoon game drive.
We will have a morning game drive in the Serengeti. We will drive until late morning, have breakfast, and rest a little bit. We then go for an afternoon game drive. Later on, we go to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we drive far in the north to the Lobo area. There is a large number of resident animals here. So, you may see elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and so on. We will then start the journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There, we explore it for a short time and then we rest, dine, and sleep overnight.
We will start our day at 6:30 a.m. with a breakfast. Afterward, we will descend the crater rim into the carter. It is best known for its large population of wild animals. We will spend almost 5 hours driving on the crater floor. You will see animals like buffalo, black rhinos, elephants, hippos, hyenas, lions, and cheetahs. We will have a picnic lunch at a designated site. We will then exit the crater and drive to Arusha or Karatu.
