Kilimanjaro International Airport is your landing airport. Meet our guide after you clear the customs and transfer to the lodge in Arusha. Listen to a short brief about your safari in Tanzania. If you arrive early in the day, you can choose to visit coffee plantations as part of an optional activity. Enjoy a fantastic dinner at the lodge and a relaxing night’s sleep the next day.
Start the day with a leisurely breakfast. Our guide will pick you up and hit the road 120 km to Tarangire National Park. We drive with a picnic lunch aiming for an afternoon game drive. At Tarangire, discover various animal species, including leopard, impala, oryx, zebra, elephant, buffalo, lion, and many others.
Get your binoculars ready to see some birds since the park has over 450 bird species. Watch the large herds of elephants roaming freely in the plains and the giant baobab trees. In the late evening, we turn back to the lodge. You then enjoy a sundowner, dinner, and a calming night’s rest.
We start the day with a drive to the eastern arm of the Rift Valley. We enter into Lake Manyara. The largest part of this park is occupied by Lake Manyara – an alkaline lake, while a small part is a wilderness hosting a variety of wild animals.
Look for flamingos on the shore of Lake Manyara, a stunning appearance at a distance. Watch the tree-climbing lions as they rest on the branches of acacia trees. You can also see monkeys, elephants, hippos, waterbucks, impalas, warthogs, and Maasai giraffes. Return to your camp for an amazing sundowner at the escarpment. Enjoy a delicious dinner and sleep well in preparation for the next day.
After breakfast, we drive to the great Serengeti through the Naabi Hill entrance. You may stop at Olduvai Gorge (the cradle of mankind). It is an important historical site, where the Leakeys excavated the remains of the early hominids said to have lived 3.7 million years ago.
We arrive at the camp at lunchtime. After lunch, enter the wild for a late afternoon game drive. Return to the camp for sundowner, bush dinner, and rest at night.
Today, we continue our exploration in the Serengeti. Start the morning with a morning game drive and head to the camp for breakfast. An afternoon game drive will follow. The Serengeti covers about 14,740 square kilometers and is home to thousands of wild animals. You can see even the Big Five that is: lion, leopard, elephant, Cape buffalo, and black rhino. You will then return to the camp for bush dinner and overnight sleep.
After breakfast, we depart for a last-morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. We enjoy the views of wild animals, including wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and many more. Later on, we embark on a journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch. We then explored the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the remainder of the day. We later check in at the lodge and spend the night.
Today, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater whose magnificence and tranquility exceed the visitors’ expectations. This crater is about 20 km wide, 700 meters deep, and 264 square kilometers big. Its high concentration of wildlife makes it captivating to watch. In the afternoon, we depart from the crater and drive to Arusha. You will be taken to the airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.
