After breakfast, we depart from Arusha and drive for the next two hours. Upon arrival at the gate, we register with park officials and then continue our drive into the wilderness. Tarangire National Park is more scenic with its lush vegetation dotted with old baobab trees, diverse wildlife, abundant birdlife, and large herds of elephants. The Tarangire River attracts thousands of animals searching for water close to its banks. We enjoy the views and then return to the lodge/campsite for dinner and overnight.
On this day, we will spend a day off the wilderness. After breakfast, we drive to Lake Eyasi. It takes three hours on the drive to arrive at Lake Eyasi from Tarangire National Park. When we arrive at Lake Eyasi, we will eat lunch at a designated picnic site. Lake Eyasi is renowned for its turquoise waters, Hadzabe, water birds, and wild animals.
The shoreline of Lake Eyasi hosts a large number of flamingos and great white pelicans. Lake Eyasi also hosts wild animals like zebras, leopards, giraffes, antelopes, monkeys, and many more. After exploring all these, we then head to the villages of the Hadzabe. They are welcoming people, famous for their hunter-gatherer lifestyle. You will spend moments with these locals and soon we will depart.
After breakfast at your lodge, we begin another adventure to Lake Manyara National Park. After 2 hours, we will arrive at Lake Manyara. We drive through the lush in the acacia woodlands to look for tree-climbing lions. We will be encountering many wild animals, like buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes, and predators like lions, hyenas, and cheetahs. The shoreline of Lake Manyara is a stunning place to take a look. The pink flamingos stain it pink, thus creating a pinkish appearance from afar.
Optional Activities

- Night game drive
After breakfast, we explore the woodlands of Lake Manyara. You can talk to your guide about some optional activities that you can do on the way back to Arusha.
