We start our day at 6:30 a.m. After breakfast, we embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is home to the largest population of elephants and baobab trees. At Tarangire National Park, we will see commonly encountered animals, like wildebeests, buffalos, zebras, lions, leopards, and many others. With a picnic lunch on the way, we drive through the verdant plains of Tarangire and the riverbanks of Tarangire River.
We enjoy a buffet breakfast at the lodge. We then drive from Tarangire National Park en route to Lake Manyara. We enjoy the beautiful view of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Lake Manyara is unique with its alkaline lake, which attracts thousands of pink flamingos. We go on a game drive to search for the tree-climbing lions and other wild animals. In the late evening, we go back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
On this day, we transfer from Lake Manyara to the great Serengeti. After breakfast, we set off for central Serengeti. After almost 5 hours, we arrive at the heart of the African wilderness. We arrive at the time of lunch, so, we head to the camp for lunch. You can then relax at the camp or embark on an afternoon game drive.
After breakfast, we search for the migrating herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. The wildebeest migration is at the central Serengeti between May and June. We drive gently in the plains. Get your pair of binoculars to observe or get your camera ready for a capture. We spend the whole day exploring the wildebeest migration and other wild animals. We will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
You can start the day with a morning game drive. You can also book a hot air balloon safari and float over the vast plains. No matter what you decide to do, you will return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, we drive to the north of Seronera. We explore the Lobo area where there is a significant number of animals.
After breakfast, we start the journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We explore the area and then enter the Ngorongoro Crater. It hosts a large population of animals, such as wildebeests, zebras, the Big Five, and many others. We drive through the floor and enjoy lunch at an attractive picnic site. We then go to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Today, we explore the crater for another time. We look for animals that you may have missed on the last day. In the afternoon, we ascend the crater rim and advance more into the route to Arusha and later to Zanzibar.
