Tanzania Distance Adventures Cancelation Terms

Sometimes the desire to have a memorable tour through Tanzania may be cut short due to inevitable inconveniences. If are unable to attend your tour, we are sad to see you go. The following terms apply when you want to cancel your booked safari:

• Contact our Sales Staff by writing an email or fax. Cancelation conditions for different occasions are as detailed below;
• If you cancel your trip more than 60 days before arrival we will charge you 30 percent of your total cost as a service charge.
• Cancelations between 60 and 45 days before arrival are subjected to a charge of 50 percent of the entire cost of your safari.
• Cancelations issued between 44 and 31 days before arrival are subjected to a charge of 60 percent of the total cost of your safari.
• Any cancelation issued between 30 and arrival day is subject to a 100 percent deduction of the total cost of the safari.

Tanzania Distance Adventures won’t be able to refund or compensate canceled trips in the following scenarios;

• If you do not show up to any service included in your safari package without prior notice. These include missing flights, not showing up in accommodation facilities, or safari activities.
• If you terminate your tour after its commencement. Once your tour has started you won’t be able to terminate, if you do you won’t receive any refund.
• If you lose any travel due to any reason or when you substitute the booked travel with other means of travel.
• There will be no refunds for amended itineraries after their departure. You should make the amendments before the itineraries depart.

Tanzania Distance Adventures is committed to fulfilling the desires of its clients to deliver adventurous safari all the time. Therefore, we always do our best to prevent any circumstance that may force us to cancel the trip of their client. However, when we have no other option than canceling your trip;

• We will give you an alternative package of similar cost if available in case your trip was terminated due to other reasons than your failure to make payment or force majeure. If the alternative safari package is less costly than the original, we will refund your remaining balance.

We will issue a full refund to the client if he/she is not interested in taking the alternative package.
